The Challenge

The client needed a wireless charger that could not simply be pulled from an existing catalog mold. The finished product was ultimately destined for a major U.S. telecommunications carrier, which meant the design had to stand on its own as a distinctive, purpose-built product rather than a generic wireless charger with a logo added on top. The client came to Sibaite for full exterior and structural design work, not just assembly of an off-the-shelf shell.

Our Solution

Sibaite's design team developed a custom exterior and structural (ID) design for the wireless charger from the ground up, tailored to the client's brief:

• Custom Shell Design: A distinct exterior form developed specifically for this project rather than adapted from an existing mold.
• Structural Engineering: Internal structural layout designed to house the wireless charging coil and electronics within the new shell design while maintaining stable, reliable charging performance.
• Production Integration: The custom design was carried through Sibaite's standard wireless charging production and testing process to move from design to finished units.

The client received a wireless charger with its own distinct design identity, developed specifically for this project rather than assembled from a generic catalog shell — suited to a finished product being supplied to a major end customer under its own presentation standards.
